This is a metasearch engine, a search engine that searchs torrents provided by other sites. TorrentTab.com recopilates links for BitTorrent files using the public RSS feeds from this sites. Then it displays the results in a tabbed view, organizing the results by tabs depending on the feed source.

When you click on a link, you will be redirected to an external site with the torrent information. Then you have to follow its download torrent link.

This site uses Google App Engine and Google Ajax Feed API. Navigation over tabs works asynchronously (ajax) to make a better user experience. No iframes with the results page of an external site, just the results. More about how this works here.
